Fuel prices are at an all time high, but what can you do? My thoughts on this are for everyone to sign this petition now, theres over 100,000 signatures already, but every signature counts! Even if you don't drive, you still may use a taxi, bus or train, and even if you don't use any of these how do you think your food gets to the supermarket? This effects us all!
As it stands it appears the government are ignoring calls to reduce tax on fuel, and it appears are going ahead with the 2p tax increase. Prices are still rising, by 2009 we could be looking at £1.50 a litre. Experts predict fuel prices are to stay high for the next eight years also.
There are sites that help you find cheaper fuel such as PetrolPrices and TheAA, and there is help at MoneySavingExpert and ThisIsMoney. There are petrol price analysis etc. and a review of fuel prices across Europe so you can see how much tax we pay.
And remember...
