Now they have chosen Matt Smith as the new Doctor, its time for the companion rumours, yesterday saw the first she knows Steven Moffat so it must be her rumour here.
If you recall, the tabloids worked through every suitable male actor who had worked with Steven Moffat in the past, and still got it wrong, so be prepared for the same as a potential female companion.
I initially ignored yesterdays report about Gina Bellman, but decided to use it as an example! She was in the series Jekyll, the fantastic retelling of the classic story by Moffat :)
The Doctors companion may not even be female, or human, or there could be two, we have to wait for a BBC announcement I suspect!

I think tis time... the idea of a robot companion like in Scream of The Shalka sounds goodto me. The question is... what kind of robot?
maybe a bodyguard for the Doctor sent by River Song, for example?
