Fat Slags is a crass movie, slated by the press everywhere, but packed with many TV stars and celebrities, and I loved it :)
Based on the Viz comic strip of the same name, in which two Northern women spend their time drinking, eating, and shagging, the slags become a media sensation when an American billionaire gets a bang on the head and decides to promote them as celebrities, with worrying consequences!
I think most non-UK reviewers didn't understand it, there is no hidden message, its all at face value, give your brain a rest and laugh like a drain - this film killed me! Watching Geri Halliwell and Naomi Campbell trying to get fat is funny! But it was less than 70 minutes long, pity!
Overall if you want to see what a carry on movie may have become in the millennium, watch this!

I kind of know what you mean about the film, so bad it moves right round it to watchable - not a serious film but like a whose who of celebs.
